Q: How do I apply for admission to Midway College?
A: Submit the Application for Admission, $10 application fee, and Transcript Request Forms.  Applications will not be processed until the fee is received. Applicants can pay using credit card immediately after completing the electronic application.

Q: Are SAT or ACT scores required?
A: Official ACT or SAT results dependent upon program requirements and if a student has prior college credit.

Q: Do I need to request my high school transcript?
A: If you are under 24 years of age or a first-time applicant to college/university we will require your high school transcripts.

Q: Will all my previous college courses transfer?
A: Yes, with minimum grade of “C,” in “100″ level or above, from regionally accredited colleges. Okay

Q: How do I know which courses will transfer?
A: We’ll provide a transcript evaluation, at no cost, showing all courses required for your degree.

Q: Is financial assistance available?
A: Online students are eligible as “full-time and “part-time” students for Federal loans and may be eligible for Federal and/or State grants. (A full-time student is a student taking 12 credit hours or more per term; a part-time student is a student taking 6-12 credit hours.)

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Midway is a private, nonprofit college. To view Tuition and Fees click here. All questions concerning tuition payments, or payment options, should be directed to the College Business Office.

Q: What is the minimum number of prior college hours required to start an Online program?
A: Students generally begin with 40 to 60 prior college credits in Online Degree Completion Programs, however Midway College Online now offers several degree programs fully online with no prior college credits.

Q. How do I drop an online course?
A. Drop: Review information in the college electronic catalog. It is listed in the “Refund and Withdrawal Policy” section located in Section 4 of the college catalog. You may also drop the course via Portal.Midway.Edu , email to the registrar@midway.edu, or a fax to the Registrars Office.

TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND – Drop is required within the first official week of the online course. You must email the Midway College Registrar at registrar@midway.edu and the email must be received BEFORE midnight (EASTERN TIME) on Sunday prior to the second week of the course.***

Last time to drop: In a 5 week course, the last time you can drop and receive a “W” is BEFORE the beginning of the 3rd week of the course. Please note, however, that there will be no refund after the beginning of WEEK TWO of the course.

In an 8 week course, the last time that you can drop with a “W” is BEFORE the beginning of the WEEK FOUR of the course. Please note, however, that for each week that you remain in the course you will be charged an increasing amount for remaining in the course.
